It’s an honor for me to be here to make a speech.. Hope you enjoy a wonderful time! First I want to say is here my topic, which is how to make my class active and interactive.
Actually , when I stepped to the 3-foot platform to be an English teacher , I tried my best to make my students practice the patterns time after time , I hoped that they would get high marks in test .However , my students didn't care about it , they showed less attention to my class.
Until one day, a student had a talk with me. He said : ”I’m learning many things that are boring, useless and not valuable. So I’m tired of studying. Miss Ma , can you understand me? ”At that time, I felt my class was lack of active and interactive patterns.
Then I gradually found that make class active and interactive is from active learning to interactive teaching.
First , we should be energetic and encouraging .Because our passion can make class want to learn English, they will act with nature and show more potential abilities. Also,we should praise in various ways. In our class we often say “good, very good”, the simple word not only make them active in class, but also foster their sense of achievement in future learing..
Secondly, we should make class meaningful and creative. In class, we can use the short and simple sentence, use the body language to communicate with students .We should give students clear purpose and offer them opportunities to try, to create and allow them to fail. Make sure the class relaxing and interactive, be familiar to the feeling of English language.
Coming up next is organizing games and activities .You know, activity is the key part of class. Including paired work, competitions, role play, guessing game, TPR activities, and so on. Whatever I use , I should often change the way. From students and I; student and student ;to students and students. Make all class.
The last but not the least is helping the class feel comfortable with asking me questions and answering my questions. To do this, do not criticize any questions from students .This will insure that students will continue to ask questions. good morning, ladies and gentlemen, first, let me introduce myself. my name is aileen. i work as a new public relations manager for the westwood brewery. i’m going to be discuss the brewery’s corporate image -----in particular whether it needs to be changed. my presentation will last about 15 minutes. i will be using powerpoint for my talk. if you have any questions, i’ll be pleased to answer them at the end of my talk.
as you can see, i am going to examine three points: first, the history, second, the product, and third, the markets.
let’s begin with the company’s history. westwood brewery, based in london, is a traditional company. it was founded in 1778. and it’s still a family firm. we continue to run as a family firm and this is important for the corporate image. as you know the present owner is ben westwood. there was a takeover bid. that wraps up that point.
now, i’d like to discuss the second point, the company’s product. we use traditional production methods to produce an imperial stout. it’s described as dark, immense, rich with a depth of burnt fruitiness, this beer is an ideal nightcap. imperial stout is 50% stronger than any of the other beers in the export premium range. we also have horses. like this. do you remember that them delivering the beer to the local pubs at the last century? yes. we
use it to deliver the stout.
ok. let’s begin with the last point, the markets. we have make a larger which is european, a european type beer and sales have increased a lot over the last year. but, the production has actually dropped a little over the last few years, although profits have actually held up.
so, we need to change the corporate image. in the eyes of the public, a clearly defined company image is the identity of the company. it reflects the quality of their product or service. so, a good company image enhances public recognition and increased popularity will translate into great trading volume and profits.
we need to consider these items when changing our company image. marketing communications, pricing strategy, sales strategy, customer service, publicity and promotions.
so, if we consider that and do it very well, i believe our corporate image will be most perfect.

Good morning,everyone, I'm so glad to be here and make a presentation. Before my presentation, i’d like to ask you some quertions.Do you know Li na,the famous tennis athlete in China? How much do you know about her?
I am sure that many students who have watched the Australian Tennis Championship on CCTV 5 during winter break. So today, i would like to talk about my thoughts of this game.
On January 24, Li na won over Sharapova in the women' s singles final. This is the third time that Li na has gone into the grand slam finals. Once again, On January 26, Li na went against a new opponent name Azarenka. On that day of the game, Li na was in the leadin the first inning, but during the second inning, she accidently fell down twice. People were shocked and sad about how she could not continue the game. But because of the people being worried, she doggedly continue the game, making the audience cheer and applauding her for her effort to continue her game. A t that time ,audience applauded foe her persistence.Although she lost the game, her hard effort and insistency moved us and motivated us.
And this case also appreaded in tthe men singles final the next day. Two opponents named Murray and Djokovic were against each other. Due to the game, Murray's foot had blisters that affected the way he played. The doctor had to treat his wound with medicine. As human beings, if we had blisters on our foot, we may feel a lot of pain and don't want to walk. However, as an athlete, Murray had to withstand the pain and strive for the victory.
As far as I’m concerned, for professional athletes, games have become a part of their life. They fight inthe match, fight for their dream,and enjoy thir games
As students, studying is a part of our life.I know we may be confronted with many different kinds of problems,have you ever wangted to give it up? Thank you very much for choosing to come in such a cold y my topic is about choice and process.A research shows that a man has to make 73 choices one so many choices one day, people easily get so confused and afraid of making wrong choice that they hesitate and finally miss the true part of life. In my opinion, the following part is of much more importance than the choice. There is no absolute right or wrong choice but wonderful or boring life, which the process makes the difference.
Life is a box of chocolate,you never know what you will get. Forrest Gump made no decision by and for himself but he accomplished great success with his strong will in the process. The process is not the road itself but the attitudes and feelings ,the caution, courage and persistance we have as we encounter new experience and unexpected obstacles. Take myself as an example, I changed my major when I became a postgraduate. After the choice,days have been harsh for me.I cannot understand the new lessons at all. For they are closely related to mathmatics which I learned nothing about before. However wuth the belief that this is the great chance for me to experience new ideas and challenge myself,I persisted. I asked for help from every channel and reorgonized my life. Gradually I could understand some parts and even found maths over, I learned to act instead of complaining. In retrospect,the choice left no trace in my mind but the happiness and bitterness of the past four months becomes an unforgetable experience in my life.

I would like to answer whatever you may raise, and I hope I can make a good performance today. I am a third year master major in automation at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, P. R. China. Withtremendous interest in Industrial Engineering, I am writing to apply for acceptance into your Ph.D. graduate program. In 1995, I entered the Nanjing University of Science & Technology (NUST) -- widely considered one of the China’s best engineering schools. During the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department. I was granted First Class Prize every semester,In 1999, I got the privilege to enter the graduate program waived of the admission test. At the period of my graduate study, my overall GPA(3.77/4.0) ranked top 5% in the department. In the second semester, I became teacher assistant that is given to talented and matured students only. With the tool of OpenGL and Matlab, I designed a simulationprogram for transportation scheduling system. It is now widely used by different research groups in NUST. I assumed and fulfilled a sewage analysis & dispose project for Nanjing sewagetreatment plant. This was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product. In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and
experience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future research interests include: Network Scheduling Problem, Heuristic Algorithm research (especially in GA and Neural network), Supply chain network research, Hybrid system performance analysis with Petri nets and Data Mining.

second, being a good guider
As an english teacher, there is no doubt that improving students’ english skills is my primary task.I would prepare leons carefully, aign time reasonably and make them interesting and facinating as poible so that students would listen attentively and participate actively.However, as a teacher, leading students to be a true person is important, too.thus, giving students some instructive suggestions in proper time is one of my job as well.
Third, believeing and respecting my students

It seems to me a very difficult thing to put into words the beliefs we hold and what they make you do in your life. I think I was fortunate because I grew up in a family where there was a very deep religious feeling. I don’t think it was spoken of a great deal. It was more or less taken for granted that everybody held certain beliefs and needed certain reinforcements of their own strength and that came through your belief in God and your knowledge of prayer.
But as I grew older I questioned a great many of the things that I knew very well my grandmother who had brought me up had taken for granted. And I think I might have been quite a difficult person to live with if it hadn’t been for the fact that my husband once said it didn’t do you any harm to learn those things, so why not let your children learn them? When they grow up they’ll think things out for themselves.And that gave me a feeling that perhaps that’s what we all must do-think out for ourselves what we could believe and how we could live by it. And so I came to the conclusion that you had to use this life to develop the very best that you could develop.
I don’t know whether I believe in a future life. I believe that all that you go through here must have some value, therefore there must be some reason. And there must be some “going on”. How exactly that happens I’ve never been able to decide. There is a future-that I’m sure of. But how, that I don’t know. And I came to feel that it didn’t really matter very much because whatever the future held you’d have to face it when you came to it, just as whatever life holds you have to face it in exactly the same way. And the important thing was that you never let down doing the best that you were able to do-it might be poor because you might not have very much within you to give, or to help other people with, or to live your life with. But as long as you did the very best that you were able to do, then that was what you were put here to do and that was what you were accomplishing by being here.And so I have tried to follow that out-and not to worry about the future or what was going to happen. I think I am pretty much of a fatalist. You have to accept whatever comes and the only important thing is that you meet it with courage and with the best that you have to give.

We observe today not a victory of party, but a celebration of freedom -- symbolizing an end, as well as a beginning -- signifying renewal, as well as change. For I have sworn before you and Almighty God the same solemn oath our forebears prescribed nearly a century and three-quarters ago.
The world is very different now. For man holds in his mortal hands the power to abolish all forms of human poverty and all forms of human life. And yet the same revolutionary beliefs for which our forebears fought are still at issue around the globe -- the belief that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state, but from the hand of God.
We dare not forget today that we are the heirs of that first revolution. Let the word go forth from this time and place, to friend and foe alike, that the torch has been passed to a new generation of Americans -- born in this century, tempered by war, disciplined by a hard and bitter peace, proud of our ancient heritage, and unwilling to witness or permit the slow undoing of those human rights to which this nation has always been committed, and to which we are committed today at home and around the world.
Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, to assure the survival and the success of liberty. This much we pledge -- and more.
To those old allies whose cultural and spiritual origins we share, we pledge the loyalty of faithful friends. United there is little we cannot do in a host of cooperative ventures. Divided there is little we can do -- for we dare not meet a powerful challenge at odds and split asunder. To those new states whom we welcome to the ranks of the free, we pledge our word that one form of colonial control shall not have passed away merely to be replaced by a far more iron tyranny. We shall not always expect to find them supporting our view. But we shall always hope to find them strongly supporting their own freedom -- and to remember that, in the past, those who foolishly sought power by riding the back of the tiger ended up inside.

Personally,rubbish has been a big headache in Beijing. As the year 20xx iscoming,every citizen has realized Green Beijing and Green Olympics will bringthe far-reaching impact on Beijing and even all China . The scense of rubbishnearly everywhere has given all of us a really bad impression,and Im sure noneof us wish to show off the bad side of Beijing to athletes and journalists allover the world,for it would blemish the citys and even Chinas image and leave abad reputation. So we really have to work hard on Green Olympics.
Now,we are middle school students. We must improve the sense of protectingthe environment and make a contribution to Green Olympics .
In our life,a lot of rubbish,such as waste paper,plastic bottles,batteries and so on,is produced every day . After we learnt the passage MakeOur Environment More Beautiful,we found a lot of rubbish thrown into dustbinscould be recycled in fact during our discussion. So we thought it would bebetter if we could classify rubbish . we told our idea to our teacher and hesupported us very much . We became volunteers to classify rubbish . Firstly wegot three big boxes and put them in a corner of our classroom . One is for wastepaper,one for plastics and Coke cans and the other is for batteries . WithTeachers help,soon all the students took part in the activity of classifyingrubbish a month,we collected three boxes of paper,a box of batteries anda box of plastics and Coke cans sold them for 28 yuan and bought some youngtrees with the money . We planted the trees around our school . We were allspoken highly of by our school principals. Now we keep on the job and are allproud of improving environment .
The world trusts Beijing ing still has a lot to do to reach the levelthe world expects,but we have the confidence to make Beijing a Green t changes are taking place,and not far in the future,Beijing will be thefocus of all worlds attention.
