one of the best ways to celebrate mother’s day is to give your mom the day off. let her relax with the rest of the family doing all the housework. usually, dad and the kids will let mom sleep late that morning as they go into the kitchen to prepare her favourite breakfast. never forget to place a vase with a single flower on the table beside the food. the kids can pick up the flower from the garden or buy one from the shop.
arrange everything nicely before mom wakes up. some families will carry the food and mom’s favourite sections from the newspaper to her bedroom so that mom can have breakfast in bed. presents and cards from the kids can be handed to mom by themselves or just placed on the dining table.

It was traditional for them to bring a special cake along to celebrate the occasion.
In the U.S.，in 1907, Ana Jarvis, from Philadelphia, began a campaign to establish a national mothers day. Jarvis persuaded her mothers church in Grafton, West Virginia to celebrate mothers day on the second anniversary of her mothers death, which was the second sunday in May. The next year mothers day was again celebrated in Philadelphia. Jarvis and others began a letter-writing campaign to ministers, businessmen, and politicians in their quest to establish a national mothers day. They were successful. I think she is the strongest string who attaches the entire family together, she always motivates us and builds our strength and does everything that has can help us to face the world with dignity, confidence and power. Mother is the person who moulds and frames us, the one who build us both physically and mentally and empowers us to face the world. She is like a sunshine for her children and is always the first person whom we can think of our good and bad situations.
