It was June 20, 2021, Friday. The accident happened about half past eight in the morning when I was on my way to school. I was waiting at the bus stop on the West Road and suddenly heard a loud scream of car brakes coming from nearby. Out of instinct, I turned around and saw what happened at that moment.
It was a crash between a truck and a taxi. Before the accident, the truck loaded with steel bars were moving slowly in the center of the road and a taxi was impatiently following it. Then, the taxi was trying to overtake the tuck when the truck suddenly turned left, intending to avoid a girl crossing the road. As for the cause of the accident, I didnt see it quite clearly but heard other passers-by say that the truck driver was talking on the mobile phone while driving in the center of the road.
