Simply put, we can set aside an hour every day, in which we try to reach out for our neighbors without a cellphone or laptop with us. Once we begin to care about real people around us, we will suddenly find ourselves living in a community that also cares about us. This experience is much more rewarding than having thousands of virtual friends who do not really know us.
