我叫xx。這次我很榮幸能站在講臺上進行英語科代表的競選。這次，我要通過我的努力，成為老師的助手，同學的榜樣，我相信我一定能競選上英語科代表這個職務。
雖然我是一名中學生，但是我喜愛英語，成績更是在班里名列前茅。甚至有時候玩游戲我都玩英語的，雖然有些我不會念，但慢慢來，總是能學會的。再說了，這幾年我一直都是英語課代表，有一些經驗，我有責任、有能力為英語老師做好我力所能及的工作。

The college students I see are eagerly learning about how to live independently. We help each other clean the dormitory, go shopping and bargain together, and take part time jobs to supplement our pocket money.
The cynics say we care for nothing other than grades; and we neglect the need for character cultivation. But again, the cynics are wrong. We care deeply for each other, we cherish freedom, we treasure justice, and we seek truth. Last week, thousands of my fellow students had their blood type tested in order to make a contribution for the children who suffer from blood cancer.
As college students, we are adolescents at the critical turning point in our lives. We all face a fundamental choice: cynicism or faith, each will profoundly impact our future, or even the future of our country. I believe in all my fellow classmates. Though we are still inexperienced and even a little bit childish. I believe that we have the courage and faith to meet any challenge and take on our responsibilities. Now the dream came true. i’m standing here with all my body and my heart put in sports. so do the people from all over the world to here at the olympic games. it’s the olympic games that make us together. we are here for a big day of sport; we are here for a dream of sports. we are here for a spirit of sport that encourages us to face the difficulties of today and tomorrow.

The tree was glad to see him happy but the boy never came back since then. The tree was again lonely and sad.
One hot summer day, the boy returned and the tree was delighted. “Come and play with me!” the tree said. “I am sad and getting old. I want to go sailing to relax myself. Can you give me a boat?” “Use my trunk to build your boat. You can sail far away and be happy.” So the boy cut the tree trunk to make a boat. He went sailing and never showed up for a long time. The tree was happy, but it was not true.
Finally, the boy returned after he left for so many years. “Sorry, my boy. But I don't have anything for you anymore. No more apples for you…” the tree said.
"I don't have teeth to bite,” the boy replied.
"No more trunk for you to climb on.”
"I am too old for that now,” the boy said.
"I really can't give you anything… the only thing left is my dying roots,” the tree said with tears.
"I don't need much now, just a place to rest. I am tired after all these years.” The boy replied.
"Good! Old tree roots is the best place to lean on and rest. Come, Come sit down with me and rest.” The boy sat down and the tree was glad and smiled with tears…
