hello, dear teachers and fellow students.

　　it is my honor to be here on thisbeautiful friday morning to share with you my view on “me- time”. in myopinion，finding me-time is important. with the development of the modernsociety, we students in china have more and more pressure. we have to spareevery minute to study very hard and join various kinds of out-of-class trainingcourses to improve ourselves. so we are really in lack of me-time which ishelpful to keep ourselves from being over-stressed、tired and worried. i do not have as much fun as before and i always miss my childhood. threehours of homework and two piano lessons one day make me have hardly any me-timeto relax myself. i was once an active basketball player on my school team. butnow, basketball, my best friend, i haven’t touched it for almost two months. 2 on our studentsby excessive schoolwork can cause serious stress, which is unhealthy physicallyand mentally. my dear teachers, i hope you can assign less homework so we students canenjoy a period of me-time. my dear parents, would you please not follow me andremind me of study all the time? please trust me that i will do my best. my dearfriends, why not stop for a while from your heavy homework and do anything youlike? it’s me-time. i do think, that a reduction of the current heavy load wouldbe beneficial to us students and to the society as a whole. finding me-time willmake our life rich, colorful and rewardingthank you for your attentionfinding metime is important.

　　One night, I complained to my mom about the lack of time. Finally shesaid, you are short of time just because you waste precious minutes oncomplaints and anxiety. The point is, no matter how full your schedule is, ifyou try really hard, you can always fit in some thing more. It is the same with filling the jar. Even if you place a dozen fist-sizedrocks and a bucket of gravel into the jar, there is still space for sand andwater between the rocks and gravel. The lack of time is just the excuse for my negligence of every singleminute. I believe that the great dividing line between success and failure canbe expressed in six words, I did not have enough time.

　　The fact is I do haveexactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller,Pasteur, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein. The point is I have nevertouched upon the real meaning of life which lies in snatching, seizing andenjoying every minute of it. No idleness, no delay, no procrastination, nocomplaint! It is during my moments of complaining 4 or hesitation that my destinyis shaped. Once I make full use of every moment, I believe that, my worries willbe gradually cut down to nothing. Time is the most valuable of all our possessions, but the most perishableas well. As Henry David Thoreau said, You must live in the present, launchyourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment. Whenever I fell the lack of time in the future, I will tell myself Carpediem , seize the day, make every moment count.

　　It is my honor to share my topic with youhere. And my topic is Time Is Valuable. Time flies. The article cong cong of Zhu Ziqing also tells us time is rare.We all know that :Time is life, at home we have parents advisement, at school wehave teachers advisement. But who treasures time as life? Now let’s enjoy a story: One day a young man visited great educatorBanjieming. When Banjieming opened the door, to the young man’s great surprise.:his house was very dirty. “I’m sorry, It’s too dirty. Wait a minute please.Banjieming said and closed the door. One minute later, Banjieming opened the door again and said: come in please. This time what the young man saw was a clean and clear sitting room. “OK, You may go now. Banjieming said , “But I , I havn’t remit to you”. Theyoung man asked. “Isn’t it enough? Looking at the room, “ Banjieming said. “Youhave been here for one minute.” “One minute? One minute, Oh I know. You tell mea truth: We can do many things in a minute.” The young man left withsatisfaction.

　　The story is short but meaningful. Just like the story says:one minuteisn’t long. But our life is made of such minutes. In fact only treasure time ,will you succeed, only treasure time, will you realize your ideal. Only treasuretime will you achieve what you want. 5 We should make good use of time to study hard or to do something meaningfulfor yourself. So, we should plan the time to study and relax,especially athome.Because we have more free time at home,so that we can use that time to do alot of things. However,how can we plan the time? There are different ways for differentpeople.For example, somebody like to study in the morning, and relax in theafternoon.On the contrary, somebody like to relax in the morning, and study inthe afternoon.Somebody even think the best time to study is in theevening.Different ways for different people.But all the ways have one thing incommon. That is the need for practical action. If you want to change a difficultsituation, if you want to change yourself, if you want to make good use of timeto study, you must put into action.Or not, your plan will be not meaningful. So dear fiends, please treasure every minutes of your life. Only like thiswill you have an excellent future. Thank you very much.

　　In our world, there are always existing side by side two kinds of people.On one hand, some people can do well in many things in their everyday life andthey seem to have much time than the others. On the other hand, a majority ofpeople complain about they have too much work to do and has no time to exerciseor even just sit down for a while. This difference comes from the attitudetowards time of a person. So, which way is the most effective way to usetime? Firstly, the concept of the value of time in the mind of a persondetermines how he spends his time. Among my classmates, there have two studentshave two different opinions of time. One is always in diligent study for hisidea that time is flying and the past time will not come again. Therefore, hehas got good marks and achieved many accomplishments in college. In contrary,the other student does not notice the importance of time so he is occupied withnothing everyday. Obviously, he has attempted and accomplished nothing but livedhis life leisurely and carefree. Thus, a positive attitude towards time is goodfor using time effectively. Secondly, reasonable arrangements of the time of a person contribute to hisuse of time effectively. Once I was busy with my daily life because 3 I had toprepare for TEM6 of English and did sport besides took classes. However, I couldnot do them all every day. One day I discussed with my teacher about myaffliction, then I accepted his advice to arrange my time to distinguish whichthing was must to do and which was not necessary.

　　A few days later, I did my jobwith skill and ease. At last, once a person make his mind to do something, then, action. If onetakes account of too many things before to do one thing, he will waste too muchtime, even lost confidence to do it. This is one of the reasons why a largenumber of people can not use their time effectively. To sum up, in order to use time effectively, one should look on his timepositively, notice the importance of it and arrange it reasonable and actionquickly. As the saying goes “An inch of time is more precious than one inch ofgold”, we should cherish time from mow.

　　so, every day, every moment, i am overwhelmed by all kinds of assignments.i become more and more silent and can’t sleep well before the exams because i’mdressed and worried about my results. i feel so tired and how i want to have 1 metime to relax myself. i long for a period of time that i could walk in a smallpath in the countryside, sing my favourite song and smell the essence ofnature. my dear friends, having your own me-time is important. i firmly believethat achievements depend on our health. if we want to have a more harmoniousstate to work better, we should find more me time and keep off the overwhelmstresses. talks, jokes, games, fresh air or beautiful scenes will be helpful foryou. trust me, you’ll be more refreshable and energetic. thank you for your attention.
