Every one has his own dream.When I was a little kid ,my dream was even to have a candy shop of my own .But now ,when I am 16 years old ,standing here ,my dreams have already changed a lot.
I have got quite different experience from other girls.While they were playing toys at home,while they were dreaming to be the princesses in the story .I was running in the hard rain,jumping in the heavy snow,pitching in the strong wind.Nothing could stop me ,because of a wonderful call from my heart -- to be an athlete.Yeah ,of course ,Im an athlete,Im so proud of that all the time .
When I was 10 years old ,I became a shot-put athlete.The training was really hard ,I couldnt bear the heavy shot in my hands .But I always believe that "god only help those who help themselves".During those hard days,I find I was growing more quickly than others of the same age.To be an athlete is my most correct choice.But,I quit my team after entering high school because of a silly excuse.I really didnt want to stop my sports career anyway.
Today I say to you my friends that even though I must face the difficulties of yesterday ,today and tomorrow .I still have a dream .It is a dream deeply rooted in my soul.
I have a dream that one day ,I can run,jump and pitch just like I used to be.

When I was a naughty boy, may be because of theinfluence of the film."Xiao Bing Zhang Ga",my dreamwas to be a soldier just like Zhang Ga. I thought if Iwas a soldier, I should be able to swim, dive andclimb trees as he did.
It seemed to be verywonderful. So I began to learn swimming, diving andclimbing trees. I practiced every day and finally Icould do them well. But when I entered junior highschool and had the military training. I suddenlyfound that being a soldier was very difficult and Iwasnt strong enough to bear it .
I had to give mydream up. But I wasnt discouraged, and I had new aim, which was to be a postman, or rather to bea newspaper boy. As a newspaper boy. I could speed along streets on a bike and thrownewspapers onto every porch. Thats also very cool. So I started learning to ride a r the everyday practice, I could go very fast by bicycle. But to my disappointment, the jobwhich I wanted only existed in western counties not in China, because there was no porch inChina.
And Chinese postmen had to stuff very thick newspapers into very small mailboxes fromvery narrow entrances. The job was far from what I had expected. So once again my dream fellthrough. Perhaps you have had the same experience as I and most of your dreams havent cometrue yet. But I think it doesnt matter, because if you have a dream, youll make many effortsto realize it. This course is really important. If I hadnt dreamt of being a soldier or anewspaper boy. I wouldnt have learned to swim, to dive, to climb trees or to ride a if our dream cant come true, youll learn much from the efforts you have made. Sowhat I want to tell us is that dream helps us to grow up and teaches us how to control ourlives . It is dream that gives us power and makes our lives colorful.

I remember when I was young; my mother often described the beauty of the grasslands through this poem: “tian cang cang, ye mang mang,feng chui cao di xian niu yang”. it means in English “Clear skies, sweeping plains, the grass bowing before the wind, revealing grazing horses and sheep.” I could recite this even before entering primary school.
16years ago, my mother visited one of the grassland of Inner Mongolia. She said that no words could describe it’s stunning natural charm. With her description firmly printed on my mind I began to long for a tour to the grassland.
Sadly, this marvelous image that I had in my mind changed completely when my mum and I visited the grassland a year ago. As soon as we got there, I couldn’t believe my eyes. What was in front of me was just a piece of land with loosely grown grass. In the far distance I saw only a couple of horses feeding lazily. I asked my mother: “Where is the lush, tall grass?” As puzzled as me, she said nothing. I was shocked to see the differences between the grassland in my dream and what was in front of me.
On the way home, I thought a lot and tried to find answers. Now I am old enough to bring awareness to other people and share my dream for the grasslands. Overgrazing and extensive farming have ruined the grassland and so taken away the charm of our homeland. But
I am confident that one day the grasslands will recover and its true wealth and beauty will be realized as long as everybody gives his contribution to restore our homeland.

Everyone has a dream, and my dream is to become a scientist who benefits the people.
When you dont understand the path ahead, dreams are like a guide, guiding you out of your way; When you go astray, dreams are a hand that pulls you out of the dark abyss; When you are in the darkness, your dream is like a lighthouse, guiding you out of the darkness and towards the future.
When I was young, I always asked questions. Who invented the electric light bulb, who invented the astronomical telescope, and so on. My parents were bewildered by my questions, so I had to ask myself to look for answers in the book. I finally got the answer. The light bulb was originally invented by Edison, and Galileo invented the astronomical telescope. These inventions made our lives more convenient. Imagine if Edison hadnt invented the electric light bulb, we wouldnt have a light tube. Without these, on a pitch black night, we would have to rely on an oil lamp. What a troublesome thing it would be! So, from this moment on, I aspired to become a scientist.
Since the seeds of dreams have been planted, they must be watered with actual sweat and hard work tears. I have decided to strive to become a scientist in the future, and I have decided to do more hands-on experiments and read more science books. Sure enough, I am now the leader of the scientific interest group. Although there is still some distance from my dream, I still need to double my efforts.
