播放錄音。如有需要，老師可播放錄音兩遍。盡量讓學生說出答案，教師在必要的時候給以提示.
板書“---What’s your favorite subject? --- My favorite subject…提問過幾位同學之后改變人稱，隨意性的鏈式練習活動, 讓學生熟悉運用此句型以及各種人稱的用法，四、五人一組，鞏固your, my, his, her ,their各種形容詞性物主代詞
老師先做example后，再引導學生相互問答組成小對話作為鞏固操練。
給學生一分鐘時間，然后以對話的形式給出答案, 不同的學生可有不同的答案。老師當堂檢查兩到三組同學對話，其余同學課后到老師那里表演。
播放錄音，讓學生以表演對話的形式呈現答案
錄音可聽兩遍，也根據學生程度，可以每放一個小的對話就停頓幾秒，再繼續放。
提問是為了檢查答案。
老師特別強調語音語調的模仿。可全班先跟讀，再個別學生跟讀。老師可根據實際情況來決定跟讀的時間。
小組活動是對本課所學知識的綜合運用和鞏固。這一步驟的學習活動還可以以另外的形式來進行：如chant或者survey,更加活潑，要求更高。

這次的chant可以用音樂的節拍來進行。
Chant和做游戲是對Grammar focus 知識點的展示和綜合鞏固。（給學生A看 事先準備好的小紙條，上面寫比如Mary -math--- interesting 由A學生發問：What’s Mary’s
favorite subject? 其他學生猜問Is … her favorite subject?或Is her favorite subject … ?,A答用yes或no回答。猜對后，A再問Why does she like math?其他學生猜問Because it is … ?A答yes或no直到猜對答案為止。）在游戲中復習學科單詞和描寫學科的形容詞，并且復習her, his等形容詞性物主代詞。
在教師的引導下，學生由兩人對話過渡到三人一組的鏈式操練, 然后到結束的時候教師會提問一些同學的favorite subject 及teacher 的情況， 促使全體學生在練的過程中集中注意力。
給學生一分鐘時間準備
讓學生以對話的形式來訂正答案。
最后讓學生以第三人稱來說同伴的情況, 培養說簡短的語篇的能力。
為了給學生更多的機會重復使用形容詞，可適當增加表格欄目內容
在學生調查后，讓一兩個學生來做簡短的報告，其中可以適時地穿插問其他學生有關報告的內容。
在最后一個學生報告完畢后,通過問他一個問題來引出同學談論喜歡的東西，如：food, color, sports, songs, movies…。學生兩人一組相互問答。先讓三到四對同學表演對話，最后讓個別同學以語篇的形式說出自己和同伴的最喜愛的東西。
通過調查完成表格，讓兩學生談論父母親的喜好，其他學生聽，并做報告。這一步培養學生聽說寫的綜合能力。
如果有學生不知道父母的喜好，及時進行情感的教育。
