I.單詞和詞組
1.The White family are on holiday.
family/team/government/class/school/union等是由若干人組成的集體名詞。當被看作是一個非人稱單位，一個整體時，用作單數(shù)；當我們把這個集合體看作一些人時，用作復(fù)數(shù)。
①The family is very large.這個家庭很大（人很多）。
Hearing the news,the whole family were very sad.聽到這個消息，全家人都很傷心。
