一、教材分析

當今世界趨勢傾向多元化,而其突出地表現(xiàn)在個人的創(chuàng)造思維和群體間的合作精神。為此,在中學階段培養(yǎng)學生的合作意識,創(chuàng)造思維就顯得尤其重要。本單元的中心話題是“成功的關鍵”內容涉及個性特征、個人品質、團隊精神、成功之路、社會行為和社會關系等,語言技能和語言知識都是圍繞這一中心話題設計的。通過本單元教學,學生了解了走向成功的諸多要素,明白團隊精神在集體活動中發(fā)揮的重要作用。

1、Warming up 部分通過對一系列問題的討論來確定自己屬于哪一種人,具有怎樣的品德和個性。目的是讓學生學會談論社會行為和社會關系。

2、Listening部分通過對三個問題的小組討論來了解學生業(yè)余時間的安排。讓學生通過對兼職工作的討論初步了解團隊精神。

3、Speaking部分首先向我們闡述了具有誠實,負責、可信這些品德給我們帶來的益處,接著通過三個情境來對學生進行檢測。

4、Reading部分是一篇關于團隊工作的文章。通過閱讀,讓學生理解團隊精神的重要性,知道一個團隊應如何良好運轉。

5、Language practice部分設計了系列練習,讓學生在練習中鞏固本單元所學習的重要單詞和短語。

6、Integrating skills 部分講述了李永紅奮斗的經(jīng)歷,是讓學生在閱讀中理解成功的真正含義并讓學生意識到每個人的成功之路是不同的,每個人都應選擇適合自己的成功之路。

7、Writing部分是對李永紅現(xiàn)象的反思。要求學生以書信的形式就李永紅的選擇發(fā)表看法。寫一篇書信。

三、教材重組

通過對教材的分析,結合高三復習計劃的安排,我們準備用四課時上本單元,教材中的Warming up,Listening和Speaking部分談論的都是人的品德和社會關系,可將這三部分整合在一起上。Reading 是本單元的重點,上一節(jié)課。教材中的Language practice是課文中的單詞、短語填空,所以和課后練習整合在一起上詞匯練習課。本課的Integrating skills和Writing整合成一節(jié)閱讀寫作課。

You try to help her, explaining how to solve the problem on the phone, but she says it doesn’t work. Your classmate does not live very far away, and you think solving the problem won’t take more tan ten minutes. To go there and come back by bike will only take about half an hour, and you will be back long before your neighbour comes back from her evening class. What will you do.

T: We’ve learned about how to make teamwork well. The passage is mainly about the importance of teamwork. It tells us that teamwork is necessary and important because some work in our life cannot be accomplished by someone alone. Working in teams at school is a preparation for our future. To make the team function well, all team members should help, respect and support each other and be clear about their roles. On the other hand, it is important to know every member’s strengths and shortcomings, because different personalities and abilities can fit different requirements in the society and can help us avoid embarrassing other team members. In this way, we can make the best of working with team members.

The Story About Team Work

There is an animal in the world that is measured by millimeters --the ant. Although ants are tiny, they have great advantage: team work.

Forexample, if one day, the ants are out of food in the nest, they willdivide into several groups, one group for guarding the nest, one group for searching for food, and one group for transporting the food back to the nest. People are dangerous, I want to be in the guard team not the searching team.” However in our daily life, there was one day that the teacher said we were going to play game in class, the teacher asked student No. 1 to bring compasses to school, student No.2 to bring a triangle ruler...
